|“||The Marlin 1894 is a traditional lever-action rifle that has easy controls and delivers rapid fire with a powerful cartridge. Originally patented on August 1, 1893 by L.L. Hepburn, the Model 1894 features a revolutionary lever-fire system with repeat-fire capability. The Model 1894 included a new locking bolt and two-piece firing pin, alongside an improved one-piece trigger and a short receiver that enabled cartridge compatibility with 1888 and 1889 models.||”|

The Marlin 1894 Custom is a Lever-Action Rifle.
The Marlin 1894 is a unique Lever-action repeating rifle. It offers adequate damage, a high effective range, and excellent accuracy, but a rather low rate of fire, high damage drop, and very low minimum damage. It has increased damage multipliers to the head and limbs. Compared to the Saiga Spike, it is an upgrade in every category, and retains the ability to sometimes knockdown targets within 12 meters if the initial shot is not fatal. Unfortunately, while it is significantly better than the aforementioned weapon, it is not very effective at close quarters due to the absence of pellet spread, and the excellent range becomes useless due to high damage drop. It is only suited to a select few scenarios, where its tactical capabilities can rival that of a light shotgun-sniper hybrid.
It has a unique Osprey 9 Silencer which increases accuracy but decreases damage, and a unique Viper MOA sight which increases accuracy and decreases zoom-in time.
