Overview[]
The FN SCAR-H is a unique battle rifle. It offers an impressive damage per shot, decent range properties and a good rate of fire. Its damage multipliers are increased but are still inferior to newer box rifles, making it less effective for limb shots. While its high damage allows it to have an impressive potential for headshots, it lacks in many other important categories. Its magazine capacity of just 20 rounds proves detrimental in engagements with multiple targets, and its recoil pattern is strong and difficult to control, further harming its effectiveness. It is therefore strongly recommend to shoot in very tight, accurate bursts to the head; spraying is, in most cases, not a good option. Oddly enough, even given these major drawbacks, its minimum damage is lower than newer rifles, meaning its headshot potential at extreme ranges is also lacking when compared to its higher-tier competitors. It is effective at medium range, but is easily outclassed by newer alternatives.
