Overview

The Desert Eagle is a semiautomatic pistol. Because of its ability to equip a Pistol scope, its high damage per shot and fast reload speed, it is most effective as serving as a backup sniper-pistol hybrid for long range engagements. When compared to the competing revolver weapons like the Colt Python, the Desert Eagle has the advantage of a higher magazine capacity and the ability to equip a silencer, although it does lack in accuracy when aiming from the hip.

-Very popular among veteran players, the weapon features high damage, range, and the ability to attach both muzzle and scope attachments, making it a very good sidearm for the medic, who can then be "dual-purpose" (This weapon can be alternatively used as a "back-up" sniper). The only downsides to this weapon is the low magazine size and low hip accuracy, as well as high recoil.
