The Barrett M107 is a semi-automatic anti-material rifle. It offers a somewhat high damage per shot, an impressive rate of fire, and a generous 10-round magazine, allowing it to fare well against lightly-armored targets. It does, unfortunately, suffer from low damage multipliers to the arms and legs, an extremely low hip accuracy, an extremely slow reload speed, and an unrealistically slow zoom-in duration of 300 ms. It also cannot knockdown enemies, as expected from a semi-automatic rifle. It offers very poor performance in almost all areas of combat, and is easily outclassed by most other sniper weapons.
