Overview

The AMP DSR-1 is a Bolt-action sniper rifle that can be unlocked in the Advanced section of vendor weapons. It has a high damage per shot and good range, as characteristic of all bolt-action rifles, but unfortunately lacks in every other category. Its low rate of fire and small magazine capacity are not helped by its abnormal zoom-in situation; while the scope zooms in extremely fast, the weapon does not immediately attain full accuracy, thereby forcing the user to pause before shooting to guarantee an aimed shot. It is therefore significantly less effective for quick-scoping techniques, although it is still effective at long range.

The AMP DSR-1, the CDX-MC Kraken, the Truvelo CMS and the DVL-10 M2 will suppress the effects of vests that protect from one hit.
