The AK Alpha is an Assault Rifle.

Overview

The AK Alpha is a unique Assault Rifle. It has high damage, good range, a good rate of fire and high accuracy, making it very effective at longer distances. The weapon is comparable to the Beretta ARX160 and FN FAL DSA-58, with slightly inferior stats but similar performance. It features a high but somewhat predictable recoil pattern, making it effective for those who prefer to aim for the head.

The weapon does offer a slightly lower damage multiplier to the head, although it is still more than sufficient to instantly kill with a single shot to the head at medium ranges. This is offset by a slightly higher damage multiplier to the arms and legs.

It comes with a set of unique attachments, including a unique AK Alpha Suppressor which decreases damage drop and improves penetration; a unique Tactical Grip which decreases recoil, spread and reload duration; a unique Hartman MH-1 sight featuring 1.4x magnification, and a unique Sig Sauer Romeo 4 sight with 1.8x magnification and a slightly faster scope-in speed. While not using scope attachments, its zoom in duration is reduced by 65% and its zoom out duration is reduced by 60%.
