The AK Alpha is an Assault Rifle.

Overview

The AK Alpha is a unique Assault Rifle. It has high damage, good range, a good rate of fire and high accuracy, making it very effective at longer distances. The weapon is comparable to the Beretta ARX160 and FN FAL DSA-58; it is essentially a mix of the two, serving as a comfortable middle ground for those that prefer to aim for the head, but also need strong performance when spraying to the body. Its damage multipliers to the limbs are increased, but less so when compared to both the aforementioned weapons and newer offerings. Oddly enough it also has a decreased damage multiplier to the head, although this only becomes noticeable at much longer ranges. Nevertheless it is extremely effective for all ranges of combat.

It comes with a set of unique attachments, including a unique AK Alpha Suppressor which decreases damage drop and improves penetration; a unique Tactical Grip which decreases recoil, spread and reload duration; a unique Hartman MH-1 sight featuring 1.4x magnification, and a unique Sig Sauer Romeo 4 sight with 1.8x magnification and a slightly faster scope-in speed. While not using scope attachments, its zoom in duration is reduced by 65% and its zoom out duration is reduced by 60%.
